Duty, courage, honor, valor & service are etched between the names on the Veterans memorial on the Niagara Hospice campus in Lockport. On Friday, December 17, members of the Niagara County-based Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 268, placed a holiday wreath at the memorial for the eighth year. Thank you to the VVA for visiting today to honor Veterans and share in the holiday spirit.
“Today we are not only here to honor those who took time out of their life to protect our freedom, but also to remember the family and friends who prayed for their safe return when they served in the military,” VVA member Gordon Bellinger stated at the presentation. “So, as you go through this season and every day of your life, put on a smile and even laugh out loud, thinking of a moment you shared with them.”
