Niagara Hospice House Visitor Information
 

The safety of our patients, their families and our staff is of the utmost importance to Niagara Hospice. In an effort to keep everyone protected against infectious disease such as COVID 19, seasonal flu, RSV, etc., our reception staff will ask a few questions to all visitors prior to entry into the Hospice House to visit. 

In addition, our staff will be taking temperatures when indicated. If you have any signs and symptoms of respiratory illness and/or fever, you may not be permitted to enter the facility.

Current Visitation Policies:

Hospice House General Inpatient (GIP) Wing Visitation:


Visitation on the GIP unit will be permitted from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. with restrictions as below:  

  • A maximum of 4 visitors will allowed at one time in patients rooms. These visitors will need to be masked at all times and if not they will have to leave.
  • Patients may have 1 overnight visitor stay with them. this person will be required to be masked at all times. If not masked, they will have to leave. 


Hospice House Residential Wing Visitation:

Visitation hours will be 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

  • At any given time, 4 visitors will be allowed to visit. These visitors will need to be masked at all times and if not they will have to leave.  
  • If appropriate, patients can have 1 overnight visitor stay with the patient.
