On July 28, the Niagara Hospice Special Events Department placed more than 300 butterflies in the Memorial Gardens on the campus in Lockport. Each butterfly had a name written on it of someone that is loved and missed dearly by their family and friends. It was a beautiful tribute in place of what would normally be a large, in-person event with a live butterfly release. We are doing what we can, at a distance, to connect with our families and community members.
