The 2017 graduating class of the Culinary Arts Program at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center has decided to leave their mark on the community by donating to Niagara Hospice. The students in Mr. Robert Ihle's class raised $500 at their annual open house pasta dinner and their Thanksgiving baked good sale.

The program has had an annual pasta night since 2004, with each year making a donation to Niagara Hospice. Total donations to date are over $7000 with students learning to give back to their community.

Niagara Hospice has served over 25,000 Niagara County residents and their families since 1988. Hospice is specialized care for the terminally ill. Niagara Hospice provides supportive services to both the patient and family - providing more comfort, dignity and choice. For more information, call Niagara Hospice at 439-4417 or visit www.NiagaraHospice.org.
