26th COCKTAILS & CA$H TO BE HELD OCTOBER 21
Ticket holders have a chance to win $5,000
Lockport, NY - Niagara Hospice will celebrate the 26th anniversary of its longest-running fundraiser, Cocktails and CA$H, on Friday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Cambria Volunteer Fire Company at 4631 Cambria Wilson Road in Lockport. Cocktails and CA$H is presented by the Niagara Hospice board of directors and is highlighted on the calendars of regular guests every year, each wondering if they will be the holder of the ticket for the grand prize of $5,000.
"This event has changed venues, themes and caterers, but the constant has always been the people of this community giving generously to support the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice," says James Shaw, DDS and Niagara Hospice Board Treasurer.
Tickets are $100 that include dinner for two catered by Donna Eick, drinks and one entry to win one of 13 cash prizes of up to $5000. Event coordinator Mandy Raff stated that winners need not be present to win a cash prize, and that chances of winning are excellent as only 300 tickets will be sold. The event also includes a game show theme, wine tastings by Black Willow Winery, a high-end basket raffle, 50/50 split, and the Niagara Hospice Wheel of Prizes. Additionally, someone will walk away with a magnificent diamond generously donated by George Fritz of Mills Jewelers.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased on the Event Calendar page at www.NiagaraHospice.org or by calling Raff at 280-0766. All proceeds from Cocktails & CA$H benefit Niagara Hospice.
