ALPHA DELTA KAPPA PROVIDES FUN FOR KIDS
Niagara Hospice House receives donations for Kid's Room
The children who visit Niagara Hospice House in Lockport have a recreation lounge just for them. The Kids' Room has books, games, craft activities, a computer and much more. This room can often be a welcome distraction for children, young and old, who visit Niagara Hospice House.
Members of Alpha Delta Kappa recently collected books, puzzles and craft activities to donate to the Kids' Room at Niagara Hospice House. Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary organization of women educators who are dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understanding.
Pictured from left to right with the donated items are Niagara Hospice Special Event Coordinator, Mandy Raff; Director of Development, Brendan McIntyre; and Volunteer Coordinator Andrea Haseley. Raff said, "These donated gifts will provide hours of fun for the children who visit Niagara Hospice House as well as fun for the patients they visit who enjoy helping with puzzles, coloring or playing games with the younger members of their family."
