VOICES RING AT HOSPICE AT JEANNE'S HOUSE
Tree lighting ceremony for residents and families
The glow of the holiday season illuminated from the courtyard at Hospice at Jeanne's House - a Northgate and Niagara Hospice Collaboration, as residents, family members, employees, Boy Scouts and singers from New Life Center Youth Choir in Tonawanda and St. Jude the Apostle took part in the facility's second annual tree lighting ceremony.
The December 12 event honored individuals who are currently residing at Jeanne's House and those who have passed in the last year. The groups sang a variety of songs including the seasonal favorite "O Christmas Tree," while Reverend Gary Terrana of Niagara Hospice provided inspiring words for reflection. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cookie and cocoa bar reception.
Santa and Mrs. Claus also arrived to hand out gifts to the good girls and boys and to enjoy the music.
