Niagara Hospice Decorates Tree at NY Power Authority Festival of Trees

To celebrate the season,
Niagara Hospice is once again participating in the Niagara Power Authority's
Festival of Trees. The annual event gives area nonprofit organizations an opportunity to
represent each one's respective mission by decorating one of the many trees on
display.
Since 2013, Niagara Hospice has displayed a tree to help
educate the community about the many services provided by the organization.
This year, Kalos Health and Liberty Home Care are also participating with their
own trees decorated to represent the many services that each company has to
offer. Niagara Hospice volunteer Bernadette Ford made tree skirts using each
organization's colors and logos.
The trees are adorned with LED lights courtesy of NYPA. Participants
include the American Cancer Society/Relay For Life Greater Niagara, American
Diabetes Association, Aquarium of Niagara, Family & Children's Service of
Niagara, New York State Parks, Niagara Community Action Program, Niagara Falls
Boys & Girls Club, Opportunities Unlimited, People Inc., SPCA and United
Way of Greater Niagara.
The festival runs from December 1-31.
The New York Power Vista is located at the at 5777 Lewiston Road, next to Niagara University.
