EAGLES AUXILIARY HELPS HOSPICE EDUCATION
The Eagles Auxiliary #825 donated over $800 to Niagara Hospice to be used for education efforts. Presenting the gift to Outreach Director Lorie Ann Hildreth, PhD (middle) are Eagles members Janet Bruning (L) and Janet Sechler (R). The Eagles raise funds each year to provide grants that support education and research efforts of New York State charities. The Eagles also support research and education for cancer, diabetes, kidney disease and heart disease to name a few.

“We raise money through raffles and donations from auxiliary members,” said Janet Sechler. “We are very proud of the work we do as a small auxiliary, and we are proud to be able to help Niagara Hospice.”

Niagara Hospice provides end-of-life comfort, care and support to Niagara County individuals and families faced with end-of-life illness. No one is ever denied hospice care due to ability to pay - thanks to community events and other fundraising initiatives.
