The
Jack Beatty Memorial Hospice Regatta that takes place each summer at the
Youngstown Yacht Club recently sent the 2011 winning skipper and his crew to represent
Niagara Hospice in the National Hospice Regatta Alliance Championship held in
St. Petersburg, Florida in April. Gary Tisdale, Adam Burns, Jimmy Carminati Jr.
and Justin Hays (pictured above) proudly brought home the National
Championship. "It feels great to bring home the honor of this championship, and
at the same time raise awareness and funds for hospice care here in Niagara
County as well as around the country," says championship crew member Adam
Burns.
